Basic history/story
I am married, 25 years, I have one son. I am still in the music scene. I have a web site on myspace listed under search music bands : Rod Van Derheydt
I am currently performing with a band with former members of Jefferson Starship, The Tubes, The Animals & Spock¿s Beard. and Rod Stewart To create a mix of music from the past with former members.
My music history goes like this ,
in 2007 Received most played artist award, Internet radio.
2006 Four songs from the recent instrumental recording project Nouveau Philharmonic reached the number one position on several indie rock web radio stations.
1991 My son was born, he plays music too!

1980-1990 Worked in Hollywood as a studio musician (keyboards, guitar and bass) as well as recording engineer and producer. Played keyboards and engineered for the following recording artists. Pointer Sisters, Gary Lewis, Chambers Brothers, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Jody Watley, Susan Cowsill, Leon Sylvers, Coke Escovedo Engineered projects for: Stacy Keach Productions and Tim Conway Productions. 1984 Composed and produced 2 original songs which received considerable regional airplay. 1982 Graduate of Hollywood¿s Institute of Audio Video Engineers
